Daffodil culinary went above and beyond. I can't possibly recommend Daniel highly enough. The food was as beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared as it was delicious! He is a truly talented chef, and the best caterer I have ever worked with. And he even cut my mom's three tier cake- stepping in with each part of the process. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process- from the menu planning until the day of the event.

I highly recommend working with Daffodil for any of your catering needs. Chef Daniel is incredibly talented. He is extremely organized, thinks through all the details, clean, and efficient. It amazes me how he is able to prepare outstanding meals for large groups of people, always on time! And I highly recommend the Wagyu steak he prepares, I'm a huge fan of steak and I have to say his dish is one of the best I've ever had. Thank you Daniel and Daffodil!

Daniel and Sara provided an amazing dining experience. First, they were very responsive with my group’s inquiries and also very receptive working with our group’s food allergies and intolerances. The service and dinner provided were exceptional and our group was extremely impressed with both! Daniel even cleaned our kitchen and took out the trash. When they say full service, they mean it! We couldn’t recommend this company more! You will not be disappointed!

Sara Gaspar
Operations Manager & Senior Coordinator
Sara was born in the heart of the Black Forest in Germany and moved to Los Angeles when she was 11 years old. She then made the move to Austin in 2013 in search of a different adventure. She has fostered her passion in the food & hospitality industry and is a crucial part of our daily operations with over 10 years of restaurant experience and management. Sara is no stranger to the kitchen and is passionate about bread baking. She runs operations for Daffodil and makes the occasional appearance in the kitchen to bake pastries, cakes and bread.
Daniel Gaspar
Chef/Founder
Daniel moved to the United States from Mexico when he was just 9 years old. Since then, he has built an entire life and a professional career in Austin and has been mentored by some of the biggest talents in the city. His experience includes managing two concepts for the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group as well as stints at Barley Swine & Comedor, all whom are recognized by the Michelin Guide Texas. Daniel even had the privilege of cooking at the prestigious James Beard House in NYC for a guest chef event. Outside of his passion in the kitchen, he is a proud husband and a father of two.
